一、天然物小分子活性的研究
自各種植物純化具生化活性的小分子化合物並研究它們的作用機轉。自天然漆樹汁液萃取之氫醌化合物,研發其醫藥組成物及製法已獲專利;研究並發現其所含的氫醌化合物的抗癌活性、化學保健以及皮膚美白的功效,發表於國際知名期刊。自靈芝純化出許多三萜類,發現靈芝三萜具有抗癌活性,研究抗癌活性機轉有多篇論文發表;並與業界合作研究開發以科學方法證明靈芝的傳統功效。尚有多個活性小分子化合物的研究在進行中。本研究目的在加強傳統中草藥的科學基礎,提昇傳統中草藥的科學地位。
二、以蛋白體學技術研發檢驗標記
以新穎研究蛋白體學(proteomics)的技術研發檢驗標誌,利用以高壓層析串聯質譜(LC-MS/MS)為主的分析技術研究血清蛋白體,以發現血液中疾病的檢驗標記。目前已經針對肝纖維化,發現數個新穎肝纖維化的血液檢驗標記,正在申請專利;而且這些肝纖維化的標記將使用在肝纖維化微血檢測儀的開發。
三、開發肝纖維化生物標記診斷套組暨微血檢測儀
肝纖維化為肝臟因病毒性肝炎、酗酒、藥物等等原因而導致肝內出現纖維化組織的慢性疾病,之後整個肝臟變硬,也常發展成肝癌。肝硬化在初期症狀不明顯,且單一肝功能指數檢驗不足以診斷病情。以肝穿刺法來診斷肝纖維化是目前的標準方法,一般人對這種高侵襲性的檢驗接受性低,常因延宕錯失治療良機。若能以抽血檢驗診斷肝硬化,這種侵襲性較低的檢驗方法將有助於肝硬化的早期發現早期治療。有鑑於此,我們與臺大應力所、臺大醫工所、臺大臨床醫學研究所、工研院醫材中心及百奧生物科技公司合作共同進行「肝纖維化/肝硬化生物標記診斷套組暨肝纖維化微血檢測儀開發」之整合型計畫。 |
