Full-Time Faculty

  Undergraduate courses are designed to equip students with knowledge both in clinical laboratory sciences and medical biotechnology. With strong background in basic science as well as clinical training, many graduates continue their further education to pursue master or doctor degree. Some graduates, after passing the Medical Technologist Examination, obtain positions in laboratories of all classes of public and private hospitals, private medical laboratories, blood banks, and medical laboratory related public services under Department of Health. With the background of our training, it is also suitable for working in the field of forensic identification. Students interested in biotechnology can take additional credits and are able to complete Biotechnology Program or Genomic Medicine Program at their graduation. There are some graduates enter biotechnology industry serving as researchers, specialists, or managers in companies of laboratory instruments or diagnostic reagents. In addition to being medical technologist and joining biotechnology industry, some, especially those with master degree, work in academics such as faculties in colleges or universities, and researchers in research institutions.
